Youth Connexions recently delivered careers workshops to Year 8 students at Edwinstree Middle School, Buntingford. Students learned about the importance of knowing, promoting and developing their own skills and qualities.

A new project for young women run by Youth Connexions in South Oxhey has got off to a great start. Called ‘Eyes Open’, the aim of the project is to enable young people to recognise and develop positive healthy relationships – and, as a result, to ensure that they are less vulnerable to exploitation in the future.

Youth Connexions carries out regular surveys to gain feedback from young people about the services they receive. The most recent study asked 1,000 young people who received independent and impartial advice or guidance to rate their experience.

Young people in Watford and Three Rivers had a great opportunity to visit an Apprenticeship Fair at YouthPoint on Friday 18th March, co-ordinated by Youth Connexions together with Jobcentre Plus and West Herts College, to tie in with National Apprenticeship Week.
