A new, innovative training programme exploring mental health in young people is being delivered to secondary schools in Hertfordshire, for the first time. The Emotional Wellbeing Unit is part of the Youth Health Champions training led by Youth Connexions.Hertfordshire.

Prianka and Georgina took part in the National Citizen Service (NCS) projects run by Hertfordshire County Council Youth Connexions. Both were chosen from 80,000 national nominees to join a group of just 100 National Citizen Service Leaders, and took part in Leaders Week in London.

Young people who attend the Chorleywood Film Project run by Youth Connexions have made and produced a film about bullying. This will contribute their views to national Anti-Bullying week, which takes place 16th - 20th November and has as a theme ‘Make a Noise about bullying’.
