YC Hertfordshire celebrates LGBT History Month with pop-up exhibition

07 February 2018

In celebration of LGBT History Month, YC Hertfordshire’s Who Not What Group is taking its pop-up exhibition to venues across Hertfordshire throughout February.

The exhibition, entitled Mapping the World, is a collection of creative writing, artwork by people from lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans communities. It is aimed at young people, families and anyone interested in finding out about LGBT history.

The group hopes that the touring exhibition will promote awareness in Hertfordshire’s communities and highlight the support available to young LGBTQ people through our support groups.

The exhibition will be available to view at the following locations:

13th to 16th February - Hertford Theatre, Hertford, 10am - 5pm

26th Feb to 1st March - Rhodes Arts Complex, Bishops Stortford, 10am - 5pm

We will also be at these LGBT Fairs:

8th February Oaklands College, St Albans 10am - 3pm

12th February University of Hertfordshire, Forum building 11am - 3pm

22nd February Oaklands College, WGC 10am - 3pm
