YC Hertfordshire is continuing to support the young people of Hertfordshire over the summer
YC Hertfordshire Services for Young People youth work projects in young people’s centres will be resuming in September 2020.
Throughout the summer, in addition to continuing many of our online group work sessions and one-to-one support via phone and email, our youth workers are providing street-based youth work and are delivering the Positive Alternatives Programme outdoors across Hertfordshire.
YC Hertfordshire supports young people with:
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Relationships, including family and friendships
- Sexual health, including contraception, STI testing, pregnancy testing and advice
- Jobs and careers
- Training and apprenticeships
- Benefits and finances
- Housing and homelessness
- Alcohol, drugs and substance misuse
- Improving resilience, self-esteem and confidence
- Developing independent living skills
- Having a voice in your community

Exam results help and advice
YC Hertfordshire wishes you every success with your A-level and GCSE results. Getting your results marks the start of a new chapter in your life. Whether your results are better or worse than you expected, it’s not too late to rethink your plans to make the most of the opportunities available to you.
When you get your results YC Hertfordshire Personal Advisers are available to offer information, advice and guidance on going to college or sixth-form, finding a job or apprenticeship or undertaking training.
