Online youth projects for young people in the North Herts district, which includes Letchworth, Hitchin, Baldock and Royston

YC Hertfordshire Services for Young People is running the following online group sessions for young people in the North Herts district.

If you are a young person and would like to join any of these groups, please call the team on 01438 843340, text 'SUPPORT' to 07860 065178 or email We will then invite you by sending you a link so you can easily join the session from your phone, tablet or laptop.

If you are a professional or parent/carer and would like to refer a young person to any of these projects please make a referral.

North Herts Wellbeing Project

Every Tuesday, 5-6pm

Join this group for support with your emotional and mental wellbeing. The group offers a safe space in which to explore day-to-day challenges and strategies for managing emotions around these. We also discuss coping strategies to help with low level anxiety and worry.

For young people aged 13-16.

Youth Council

Every Monday, 4-5pm

The North Herts Youth Council is a chance for young people in the North Herts area to have their say.

There are many things you can do to have your say - a youth council is a formal way of enabling you to do this. At the same time as learning new skills you will meet lots of new friends and have a lot of fun!

We always welcome new members, so please get in touch if you'd like to join.

For young people aged 11-17.

The Royston Project

Every Wednesday, 4-5pm

Join this group to get involved in discussions about a range of issues, including health and wellbeing, sexual health, relationships and staying safe online. 

Joining the group is a great opportunity to meet other young people from your local area and to look at strategies to support your emotional and physical wellbeing.

For young people aged 14-17.

Snappy G’s

Every Tuesday, 4-5pm

Join this group for supportive discussions with youth workers and other young people with learning disabilities in your area. We focus on relationships, health and emotional well-being.

For young people aged 13-17

Supporting You

Every Thursday 4-5pm

If you would like some support with your emotional wellbeing or are struggling with anxiety or low mood, this project is for you!

You will learn techniques to help you look after your emotional and mental wellbeing and develop skills to improve your confidence and self-esteem. We will help you through any challenges and pressures you are facing in your life.

For young people aged 13-16.
