YC Hertfordshire Services for Young People is running the following online group sessions for young people in the St Albans district.

If you are a young person and would like to join any of these groups, please call the team on 01442 454060, text 'SUPPORT' to 07860 065195 or email We will then invite you by sending you a link so you can easily join the session from your phone, tablet or laptop.

If you are a professional or parent/carer and would like to refer a young person to any of these projects please make a referral.

Creative Spark Project for Young People with Learning Disabilities

Every Wednesday, 11am - 1pm

Join this group to get involved with sessions which focus on healthy relationships, sexual health, resilience, independent living skills and coping with tough situations.

For young people with learning disabilities aged 13-17.

Girls Allowed Young Women's Project

Every Monday, 3-5pm

Join this group for discussions about current issues and to find out about support available to young women in the area.

We look at body image, healthy relationships, stereotyping, and positive role models. We offer sexual health advice and the opportunity to grow into confident and resilient young women.

For young women aged 13-17.

Independent Living Skills for Young People in Care and Care Leavers

Every Thursday, 3-5pm

Join this online group to chat with friendly and supportive YC Hertfordshire youth workers and other young people in care and care leavers in your area. You'll learn important skills that will help you to live more independently and healthily and build your confidence.

For young people in care or care leavers aged 14-17.

LGBT+ Project

Every Wednesday, 4.30-6.30pm

Join this group for young LGBT+ people in the St Albans area to discuss and get support with LGBT+ issues.

For young LGBT+ people aged 13-17.

Plus One Project for Young Parents and Parents-To-Be

Every Thursday, 11am-1pm

This project offers support, advice and guidance to young parents and parents-to-be up to the age of 21 in the St Albans District.

Join us for discussions about managing the challenges of being a parent and living healthily.

For young parents and parents-to-be aged 14-21.

Supporting You Emotional Wellbeing and Resilience Project

Every Thursday, 3-5pm

If you live in the St Albans area and would like some support with your emotional wellbeing or are struggling with anxiety or low mood, this project is for you! You will learn techniques to help you manage your emotional and mental wellbeing and develop skills to improve your confidence and self esteem.

For young people aged 11-14.
