Stevenage Youth Council

Every Wednesday, 4-5pm

The Stevenage Youth Council is a chance for young people in the Stevenage area to have their say.

There are many things you can do to have your say - a youth council is a formal way of enabling you to do this. At the same time as learning new skills you will meet lots of new friends and have a lot of fun!

Supporting You

Every Friday, 4.30-5.30pm

If you would like some support with your emotional wellbeing or are struggling with anxiety or low mood, this project is for you!

You will learn techniques to help you look after your emotional and mental wellbeing and develop skills to improve your confidence and self-esteem. We will help you through any challenges and pressures you are facing in your life.

For young people aged 12-15.

The Empathy Project

Every Thursday, 11am-12pm

This project provides a chance for the Empathy Project volunteers to come together to create fun challenges and engaging resources for young people during this time, and to develop resources that are currently being used by YC Hertfordshire. It is also an opportunity for the volunteers to (virtually) see and catch up with staff and other volunteers from The Empathy Project.

For current Stevenage Empathy Project volunteers aged 16-21 and those interested in joining the project.

Catch Me Inside

Every Thursday, 4-5pm

Join this group for support with your emotional and mental wellbeing. The group offers a safe space in which to explore day-to-day challenges and strategies for managing emotions around these. We also discuss coping strategies to help with low level anxiety and worry.
