Three Rivers

Online youth projects for young people in the Three Rivers district, which includes Rickmansworth, Chorleywood, Mill End, Maple Cross and Croxley Green.

YC Hertfordshire Services for Young People is running the following online group sessions for young people in the Three Rivers district during the coronavirus outbreak.

If you are a young person and would like to join any of these groups, please call the team on 01442 454060, text 'SUPPORT' to 07860 065185 or email We will then get in touch and invite you by sending you a link so you can easily join the sessions from your phone, tablet or laptop.

If you are a professional or parent/carer and would like to refer a young person to any of these projects please make a referral.

Emotional wellbeing

Every Monday, 3-4pm

Join this project to get support with your emotional wellbeing. If you are struggling with stress, anxiety, self-esteem or low mood, this project is for you. Our Youth Workers are here to support you.

For young people aged 13-17.

Girls' and Young Women's Project

Every Thursday, 6-7pm

This project provides a safe space for girls and young women to explore issues such as aspirations, confidence, self-esteem, image and identity, social media, bullying, online safety, sex and relationships.

For girls and young women aged 13-17.

Healthy Lifestyle Project

Every Thursday, 6-7pm

Join this group to find out about ways you can look after your emotional and physical health, boost your confidence and self-esteem, and make positive choices to keep yourself safe.

For young people aged 13-17.


Every Tuesday, 7-8pm

POWWA stands for Proud of Who We Are!

This project is a for young lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender variant people and those questioning their sexuality in the Three Rivers District.

Join this group for discussions with other young LGBT+ people in the area and to get information and support from YC Hertfordshire youth workers.

For young LGBT+ people aged 13-17.

Three Rivers Youth Council

Every Tuesday, 4-5pm

The Three Rivers Youth Council is for young people who want to make a difference in their community, discuss current issues, share ideas and think of ways they can help improve things in their area.

For young people aged 11-17.

West Hyde and Maple Cross Youth Project

Every Friday, 6-7pm 

This project provides a place for young people from West Hyde, Maple Cross and Mill End to meet up online and speak to each other and youth workers about issues they are facing. These could include emotional wellbeing, aspirations, relationships, sexual health, substance misuse and staying safe.
