YCH emotional wellbeing projects are for 13-17 year-olds who would like support with developing their emotional wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem, or are struggling with anxiety or low mood.

Borehamwood

If you live in the Hertsmere area and would like some support with your emotional wellbeing or are struggling with anxiety or low mood, the YCH Borehamwood Emotional Wellbeing Project could be for you.

If you want to feel happier and more confident, come along to this YCH emotional wellbeing project on Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm. It's for all 13-17 year olds in the Hertsmere area.

Each term we cover a variety of subjects and activities which will help you through the challenges and pressures you are facing in your life, and discuss how you can look after your own emotional and mental wellbeing.

You can get involved in a range of enjoyable activities, including sports, cookery, arts and crafts, and have the opportunity to make new friends. You will also learn coping strategies for dealing with anxiety, stress and low mood, and gain new life skills at the same time.

The emotional wellbeing project offers a safe environment where you can access support to help you feel better about your life and future.

St Albans

Are you aged 13-17? Do you want to feel more confident in life? Come along to YCH's emotional wellbeing project at the Pioneer Young People’s Centre every Thursday evening.

At the YCH Emotional Wellbeing Project at the Pioneer Young People’s Centre you can get involved with all sorts of great activities.

We are currently offering the 'Supporting You' programme. Supporting You is a group programme of seven weekly sessions where you learn strategies to help you to reduce stress, anxiety and low mood in a fun and safe environment. The programme gives you the tools to build resilience and maintain positive emotional wellbeing.

All the activities are run by supportive YCH youth workers.

You can get involved in discussions on a variety of subjects and the project will help you to increase your self-esteem, assertiveness and confidence. It provides a safe space to work through any issues or barriers you are facing.

Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm and bring about positive changes in your life.

Are you feeling down or low? Anxious? Stressed? If you live in Broxbourne, are aged 13 to 17 and would like some support with your emotional wellbeing or are struggling with anxiety or low mood, the YCH Fiesta Emotional Wellbeing Project could be for you.

At the YCH Fiesta Emotional Wellbeing Project you will take part in a series of focused activities which will help you manage your emotional and mental wellbeing.

The two-hour sessions run every week and offer a safe environment to provide you with support from youth workers to boost your emotional wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem. We will help you through any challenges and pressures you are facing and discuss how you can look after your own emotional and mental wellbeing. Ultimately, the project will help you to feel better about your life and your future.
