Accommodation for overnight stays
Accommodation at Hudnall Park is available for overnight stays all year round.
With 59 beds across two buildings, Hudnall Park can accommodate a large group or several smaller groups at the same time. With eight bunk rooms sleeping up to 12 people, we can cater for groups of many sizes and male/female mixes.
Both the main house and the Lodge have at least two wet-room style shower rooms for guests with disability and access needs.
The main house
The main house has a sleeping capacity of 39 people.
There are five centrally-heated bedrooms of varying sizes, allowing flexibility for groups.
The main house has a newly-renovated kitchen, ideal for groups to use themselves. All equipment is fully accessible allowing a wonderful opportunity for all groups to learn and practice food preparation skills, promoting independent living skills or contributing towards the skills element of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Used by many disability organisations throughout the year, the kitchen includes adjustable height worktops for wheelchair users.
If you do not wish to self cater, we can provide a cooked breakfast plus toast and cereals, packed lunch or buffet options, afternoon tea with home-made cakes and two-course evening meal.
Dining room and communal areas
A large dining area, which can seat 30 people at a time, and flexible common areas are available for team work activities, recreational games or allowing groups to unwind.
All communal areas can be adapted for use as meeting rooms, classrooms, rooms for group activities, training spaces and recreation/break-out rooms. There is a TV room with a DVD player and the large conference room has laptop connections and a projector.
The Lodge is a separate converted house which can sleep up to 20 people. All bedrooms are centrally heated.
There is a bathroom and also wet rooms. The lodge has two flexible rooms which can be used for meetings or common areas.
Located at the rear of the Lodge is a quiet garden and patio area in which is for the sole use of the group. Barbecues are available for groups to use in order to make use of the summer evenings.
There is further space for self-pitched camping on site.
Campers have access to a newly-built toilet and shower block, which is accessible for people with limited mobility:
While groups can self-cater, most make use of the fully-catered option. We have on site caterers who can provide your group with freshly-prepared homemade meals and accommodate any dietary requirements you may have. We will contact you in advance to discuss your menu options. Breakfast and evening meals are provided in the dining room and a packed lunch is provided for groups to enjoy at lunch time.
Tea and coffee are available 24 hrs a day at no extra cost.
A member of Hudnall Park staff is always on call for emergencies.
