The Snowdonia Centre is a 19th century coach house in the mountains of Snowdonia in North Wales run by YC Hertfordshire.
Snowdonia Centre is a 19th Century Coach house nestled in the mountains of Snowdonia, North Wales, offering comfortable self-catering residential facilities for up to 33 people throughout the year.
It has four bedrooms with bunk beds plus two shower rooms, a lounge area, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. A ground floor bedroom and separate shower room is available for visitors with limited mobility. There is also a large drying room equipped with dehumidifier.
The facilities are perfect for a self programming youth group or secondary school wishing to explore the local environment or undertake adventurous activities in the locality, not forgetting Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions or groups simply wishing to climb to the top of Snowdon itself.
Many other attractions are right on the doorstep and the valley in which the centre lies offers opportunities to participate in a wide range of adventurous outdoor activities such as sailing, canoeing and kayaking on the nearby lakes, and mountain biking.
YC Hertfordshire are happy to suggest locations and routes for self-led activities and advise on local tourist attractions. The centre is not staffed; however a local caretaker can provide support with the premises.
