Broxbourne Youth Council
Youth councils are groups of young people aged 11–19 (up to 24 if you have a learning disability), who come together to represent young people in their local area. Nobody knows about the issues affecting young people better than young people themselves, so come along and have your say. The Broxbourne Youth Council is supported by YC Hertfordshire and will enable you to present your views to those who make decisions so that they can work to improve things in the local community.
Cheshunt Duke of Edinburgh's Award Project
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a real adventure from beginning to end. Come along to the Broxbourne DofE sessions which are held every three weeks on Fridays at Cheshunt Young People's Centre.

The YC Hertfordshire Independent Living Skills programme is for young people in care aged 13-16 or care leavers aged 17-21. Come to the YC Hertfordshire Cheshunt Young People's Centre to learn valuable skills that will help build your confidence in living more independently.
The 'Be Yourself Be Proud' LGBTQ Project is YC Hertfordshire's project in Cheshunt for young people aged 13-17 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning their sexuality or gender (LGBTQ+). Joining the group will allow you to meet other LGBTQ young people in a safe space. You'll find the meetings informative and fun and the staff supportive to all who attend. We aim to provide a support network and opportunities for young LGBTQ people to socialise and learn new skills. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.
