Bridges2Beats, Waltham Cross

Bridges2Beats is a unique music project run by YC Hertfordshire which looks at the impact of how music can break down barriers between different cultures. As part of the project you'll work towards a live performance and gain a Bronze Arts Award. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

Broxbourne Youth Council

Youth councils are groups of young people aged 11–19 (up to 24 if you have a learning disability), who come together to represent young people in their local area. Nobody knows about the issues affecting young people better than young people themselves, so come along and have your say. The Broxbourne Youth Council is supported by YC Hertfordshire and will enable you to present your views to those who make decisions so that they can work to improve things in the local community.

Care Leaver Hub

If you are a young person leaving care, the Care Leaver Hub at the YC Hertfordshire Cheshunt Young People's Centre is for you. You will get support to help you become more independent in all areas of your life. If you are aged 16-21 and are in care or will be leaving care soon, get in touch and find out how we can help you.

Fiesta Wellbeing Project

If you're struggling with your emotional wellbeing and self esteem, come to the Fiesta Youth Project at the Cheshunt Young People's Centre on Wednesday evenings and enjoy a quality mix of activities including cooking, arts and crafts and much more.

Focus Project for Young People with Learning Disabilities

The YC Hertfordshire Focus Youth Project is an exciting youth project for young people with learning disabilities. If you are aged 13-24 and interested in playing sports, cooking, arts & crafts, music-making, day trips and socialising then this is the project for you! YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

Healthy Relationships Project

Want to be more confident and happier in your relationships? Worried about a relationship being or becoming sexual? Want to find out how and where you can get support? The YC Hertfordshire Healthy Relationships Project at the Cheshunt Young People's Centre can help you to make informed, safe choices and to have appropriate, healthy and safe relationships. It is specially designed to enable 13-17 year olds to recognise and develop healthy relationships and keep safe from sexual exploitation. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

Hoddesdon Project

The YC Hertfordshire Hoddesdon Youth Project is for all 13-17 year olds in the Broxbourne district. Come along to the Pound Close Community Centre in Hoddesdon every Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm. You can join in with discussions on topical issues, try different arts & crafts, cooking and sports. Our friendly YC Hertfordshire youth workers will also offer advice and guidance on a range of issues. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

Hoddesdon Street-Based Project

If you're aged 13-17 and live in the Hoddesdon area come and meet YC Hertfordshire youth workers on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm at Pound Close Park. You can meet up with friends, take part in sports and other outdoor activities, chat to the youth workers, get advice and support, and have your say on local matters. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

Independent Living Skills Project

The YC Hertfordshire Independent Living Skills programme is for young people in care or care leavers aged 13-21. Come to the YC Hertfordshire Cheshunt Young People's Centre on Mondays from 4.30 to 6.30pm and learn some important skills that will help you to live more independently and build your confidence.

LGBTQ Project

The 'Be Yourself Be Proud' LGBTQ Project is YC Hertfordshire's project in Cheshunt for young people aged 13-17 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning their sexuality or gender (LGBTQ+). Joining the group will allow you to meet other LGBTQ young people in a safe space. You'll find the meetings informative and fun and the staff supportive to all who attend. We aim to provide a support network and opportunities for young LGBTQ people to socialise and learn new skills. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

Waltham Cross Friday Night Project

The YC Hertfordshire Friday Night Youth Project at Waltham Cross Young People's Centre is open to all 13-17s in the Broxbourne district. Every Friday come and get involved in something new and exciting! From film nights to music events... Waltham Cross Young People's Centre is the place to be on a Friday evening! YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

Waltham Cross Saturday Night Music Project

Interested in music? Want to be involved in organising music gigs? 'The Cross Presents' group organises and runs the live music events held every month at the Waltham Cross Young People's Centre. Come along to this YC Hertfordshire weekly music project every Saturday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and put your skills to good use.

Waltham Cross Street-Based Project

If you are aged 13-17 and live in the Waltham Cross area, come along to Stanhope Road on Monday and Friday evenings from 7pm to 9pm and meet the friendly YC Hertfordshire youth workers. You can get advice and support, take part in sports and make new friends. You can also join discussions about local issues and have your say. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.
