Care Leaver Hub
If you are a young person leaving care, the Care Leaver Hub at the YC Hertfordshire Stevenage Access Point is for you. You will get support to help you become more independent in all areas of your life. If you are aged 16-21 and are in care or will be leaving care soon, get in touch and find out how we can help you.
GROW Emotional Wellbeing Project, Letchworth
If you're aged 13-17 and feel you'd like some support with your emotional well-being, confidence and self-esteem or are struggling with anxiety or low-mood, then the YC Hertfordshire North Herts Team's GROW project could be for you. The project offers a safe environment where you will get support in boosting your emotional well-being, helping you to feel better about life. Come along to the Letchworth Young People’s Centre on Tuesday evenings from 6.30 to 8.30pm.
Identity LGBTQ Project
The YC Hertfordshire Identity LGBTQ project is for young people in the North Herts area who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or questioning their sexuality. Joining the group will allow you to meet other LGBTQ young people in a safe space. You'll find the meetings informative and fun and the staff supportive to all who attend.
Letchworth Sports Activator Project
YC Hertfordshire runs a free Sports Activator project in Letchworth. If you fancy giving something new a try then why not pop in? Everyone is welcome no matter their skill level - and it's open to all young people in the North Herts district aged 13-17. Now's your chance to engage in lots of fun activities such as football, basketball and tennis - all completely free! The programme runs every Thursday evening.
Meridian Sports Activator Project, Royston
YC Hertfordshire is running free sports projects across North Herts. If you fancy giving something new a try then why not pop in? Everyone is welcome no matter their skill level, and it's open to all young people in North Herts aged 13-17. The Royston project runs on Friday and Wednesday evenings at the Meridian Youth Centre.
North Herts Youth Council
Youth councils are groups of young people aged 13–17, who come together to represent young people in their local area. Nobody knows about the issues affecting young people better than young people themselves, so come along and have your say. The North Herts Youth Council is supported by YC Hertfordshire and will enable you to have your say about issues or things affecting you, either on a small scale in your area or at a national level. WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS NOW. This is your chance to get involved!
Snappy G's Project for Young People with Learning Difficulties
There are loads of great activities at Snappy G's - and you decide what they are! Are you a young person aged 13-17 with a learning disability or a young adult aged 18-24 with a learning disability? If so Snappy G's is the YC Hertfordshire youth project for you! It's based at the Bancroft Young People's Centre in Hitchin and runs on Monday evenings.
The YC Hertfordshire Westmill Project takes place at the Westmill Community Centre in Hitchin. Come along and take part in fun activities! The Westmill Project runs every Wednesday during term time and is for young people aged 11-13.

Young Carers Project
The YC Hertfordshire Young Carers Project at the Bowes Lyon Young People’s Centre in Stevenage is for young people aged 13-17 from the North Herts and Stevenage areas who have caring responsibilities. Come and meet other young carers, relax, laugh and have a bit of well-deserved 'me-time'!
Young Parents and Parents To Be Project
Do you have a baby or are you pregnant? Are you up to 21 years old? Why not join the YC Hertfordshire project for young parents? It's for young parents and parents-to-be in the Stevenage and North Herts areas. It's completely free and will help you manage the challenge of being a parent and develop important skills and qualities for your future.
